Tai Chi and Kung Fu, with Horses

3 Day Mindfulness Meditation Retreat with Horses

Wellness Retreat to Bond with You

OVERVIEW

Join us for a unique and carefully designed retreat for emotional, mental, and physical cleansing and to connect with horses, nature, and the land. The program includes Tai Chi and Kung Fu guided meditations, self-awareness, sound healing session, Chakra balancing and cultural activities.
Be present and in the now. Breathe in the fresh air and peace of the cosy mountain farm. Practice mindfulness and get in contact with yourself through your equine partner and while meditating. Feel yourself and your horse moving together in harmony and during your Tai Chi and Kung Fu class. Soak in the life and peace of the bush surroundings.
This retreat will balance your mind, body, and soul as you immerse yourself in the healing powers of Tai Chi, Kung Fu, leadership and horse work.
Horses are both powerful and gentle and they are magnificent creatures that tend to mirror your own state of being. Therefore, working with horses is tremendously empowering and mind-opening.
You do not have to be able to ride or have practiced Kung Fu or Tai Chi before. You just need an open mind and a love of the outdoors to enjoy this beautiful, empowering experience.

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” – Rumi

About the Facilitators:

Vincent Leo
As a practicing bodyworker, naturopath (human and animal), martial artist and Bio-resonance therapist, I have had the pleasure of training thousands of students and assisted patients from all walks of life to understand what it means to be healthy in mind, body and spirit. It is my opinion that the fundamentals of life are to be FREE within one. That means to have awareness with everything. Not be influenced by beliefs.
I have trained with Jacqueline Buckingham in Animal Communication level 1 and Level 2.
I have also trained with Anna Breytenbach (Black Leopard on You Tube) and Brad Laughlin.

Jason Lindley
I have been involved with horses, at all levels, for over twenty-two years. My involvement begins with horses from unborn to born and starting horses right through to competition standard. I work in a language that a horse understands, where I ask the horse to respond rather than demand that he/she does.
I believe that how your young horse is handled and broken-in will influence the rest of his/her life and with the right methods, ensure calmness and confidence prior to their first ride.
I am a father of two beautiful boys, and husband to Tanya. I am a speaker, riding instructor and horse trainer who has become a recognised innovator in the field of Equine Experiential Learning and a respected horseman on the subject of Equine.

Sarah Lindley
Yoga with horses
I grew up on a cattle property North of Rockhampton near Stanage Bay where I was home schooled during my primary years alongside with my older sister & brother.
I have always had a love for outdoors, animals and spending time with my friends & family. I started campdrafting in my early twenties and it has now turned into something that I thoroughly enjoy socially, and travel various locations in competition with 2 to 3 horses during the season.
I work in an office job during the week scheduling field crews but on my days off I like keep quite active with horses, mustering, gym and catching up with friends. I have a great interest in taking photos and travelling.
I also have grown the love for yoga and try to do as many classes as I can especially outdoor/beach yoga. I think it’s an essential to your own personal health & mind but also to free the body from any extra stress that you unconsciously hang onto. It goes hand in hand with day-to-day life and it gives great steps towards your mindset whether you’re a horse lover or not.
Yoga is my love
